Knowledge from Magadh, for the Building of Society
“मगधात् ज्ञानम्, समाजाय निर्माणम्”
The Magadh Nirman Foundation is a registered charitable trust with its office at Gondapur, Nawada, Bihar. The Foundation was created with a single, clear purpose: to build institutions that uplift the people of the historic Magadh region — through education first, and through social development more broadly.
Magadh was once home to Nalanda and the great seats of learning of the ancient world. The Foundation draws on that heritage, captured in its emblem of the stupa and hills, to create modern institutions of the same spirit. Kakolat Degree College is the Foundation's flagship educational initiative.
- Registered charitable trust, governed by a Board of Trustees
- Focus areas: higher education, skill development and social welfare
- Not-for-profit: all surplus is reinvested in the institution
Board of Trustees
